How to update nodes
This page introduces how to update nodes and update subscriptions on the full platform client
LibCyber official client
Android LibCyberApp client
- Disconnect
- Click the sidebar or gear-Update Node
- If the update fails, switch to 4g5g network and try again, or find an available node first, connect it and then update the node.
LibCyber Desktop client
- Find the LibCyber Desktop icon (little globe icon) from the menu bar or system tray
- Right-click to expand the menu -> open the main interface
- Click the gear -> Update node and wait for the reminder that the update is successful.
- Re-select the node connection
If you cannot find the small globe icon, restart LibCyber Desktop from the software list and the main interface will be displayed.
LibCyber CLI Client
- Open the terminal
- Enter
cyber node update
and press Enter. - Wait for the update to complete, then restart the kernel,
cyber core restart
Compatibility Client
iOS Little Rocket/Shadowrocket client
- Disconnect first
- Find the server subscription group named LibCyber(china-nav.app) (or vnet-suxxxx) and click the refresh icon on the right
- If the APP version is older, there may not be a refresh icon. You need to try sliding the subscription group left or right, and then the "Update" button will appear on the left or right (for older versions)
- If the update fails, switch to 4g5g network and try again, or find an available node first, connect it and then update the node.
- It is recommended to turn on the automatic update function. Click Settings-Subscriptions in the bottom bar-check Automatic background updates and Update when opening
Android Kitty/Clash Client
- Return to the app homepage, disconnect and deactivate the connection
- Click Configuration to enter the configuration page (node subscription configuration)
- Click the right menu icon (three dots) of LibCyber node subscription
- Click Update
- If the update fails, switch to 4g5g network and try again, or find an available node first, connect it and then update the node.
- It is recommended to turn on the automatic update function. On the configuration page, click the right menu of LibCyber node subscription -> Parameters (or edit) -> Modify automatic update to 360, which is updated every 6 hours, click Save
Desktop Clash Verge Rev client
- Open the main interface of the software
- Click the "Configuration" tab on the left
- Find the LibCyber node subscription
- Click the refresh button and wait for the node update to complete
Android Paper Plane Client (Abandoned)
- Disconnect
- Click the inverted triangle to the right of the logo on the top of the app homepage to enter the node list
- (Recommended action) Swipe left to delete unavailable nodes
- Click the plus sign
- Click on the first option (button related to subscribe to updates)
- Click Confirm and upgrade
- If the update fails, switch to 4g5g network and try again, or find an available node first, connect it and then update the node.
Windows Paper Plane Client (Deprecated)
- Find the paper airplane icon on the taskbar in the lower right corner of the desktop, double-click the icon to open the client's node list window, hold down Ctrl+A to select all nodes, and click Delete
- Click OK and close the window
- Find the paper airplane icon on the taskbar in the lower right corner of the desktop, right-click to expand the context menu -> Select Node -> Update Node
- If the update fails, first find an available node connection, click on the right-click menu -> More -> Update node (through proxy), or switch to 4g5g hotspot and try again
macOS Paper Plane client (obsolete)
- Disconnect
- Find the paper airplane icon in the menu bar at the top of the desktop, click to expand the menu -> Server -> Server Settings, in the pop-up node list window, press Command+A to select all nodes, and click the minus sign to delete
- Click OK and close the window
- Find the paper airplane icon in the menu bar at the top of the desktop, click to expand the menu -> Server -> Manually update subscription
- If the update fails, first find an available node to connect to and try again, or switch to 4g5g hotspot and try again.
